Blueberry Gold Project, Romania

The Blueberry Polymetallic Gold Project is a 7.285km² brownfield site located in the Golden Quadrilateral area of Western Romania, near the now-closed Baia de Aries mine.

The area is highly prospective for gold, silver, and a range of polymetallic minerals including copper, lead, and zinc, and is estimated to have historically produced over 10Moz of gold.

On 15 August 2018, Vast announced that its 29.41%. owned subsidiary, EMA Resources Ltd, acquired a 100% interest in the Blueberry Gold Project and has subsequently completed a drilling programme around the project perimeter. This programme has yielded sufficient data to support a maiden JORC-compliant resource, with all procedural and reporting requirements now completed and accepted by the Romanian authorities.

200kg of samples have been extracted from the Blueberry Gold Project, achieving gold recoveries exceeding 85%.
